WomensConference aims to make everyday topics easier to understand through clear, useful articles. This policy sets out the standards we seek to apply to content published on the Website.
Clarity and Relevance
Articles should answer the question suggested by their title and explain unfamiliar ideas in accessible language. Suggestions should be practical and should acknowledge circumstances that may change the outcome.
Sources and Accuracy
Factual statements should be checked against sources appropriate to the subject. For safety-sensitive topics, relevant public authorities and qualified sources take priority over unsupported promotional claims. Statistics, quotations, and research findings should be represented in context.
We should not invent personal experiences, credentials, expert quotations, product testing, or research. An article should only describe an item as personally tested when testing was actually performed and its scope can be explained.
Tools and Editorial Responsibility
Digital and AI-assisted tools may support tasks such as research organization, drafting, editing, or formatting. Using a tool does not establish that a statement is correct. Claims and sources still need verification, and responsibility for publication remains with the Website operator. Content should not be described as expert-reviewed unless that review actually occurred.
Commercial Transparency
Advertising, sponsorship, and material commercial relationships should be disclosed clearly where relevant. Paid material should be identifiable, and promotional claims should not be presented as established facts without support.
Updates and Corrections
Information can change. When an error is confirmed, our approach is to correct it and, where appropriate, explain a substantive correction on the affected page. A published date or update date should not be taken to mean that every detail has been independently rechecked at that time.
Send correction requests to service@get.womensconference.org with the article URL, the issue, and supporting information. Suggestions for new topics are also welcome.
